“La Scuola dei Mestieri” è il CFP realizzato e inaugurato nel 2021 da Amici per il Centrafrica all’interno della “Joie de Vivre”.
La scuola sorge all’interno del Centro “La Joie de Vivre” a Bangui e il suo scopo primario è fornire Competenze Professionali e creare Figure Professionali utili ad attivare reti di connessione fra l’expertise locale e potenziali link con le filiere globali di settore.
In questo modo, la formazione diventa l’attore principale di un tessuto connettivo e crea le condizioni indispensabili affinché le competenze apprese siano veri e propri fattori abilitanti e di coesione nell’ambito di un processo di sviluppo organico.
La Scuola dei Mestieri prevede ad oggi 4 indirizzi di studi: Insegnanti di scuola materna e primaria (“Jean Paul II”), Terapisti Dentali, Prototipisti Industriali e Artigianali (“Scuola della Moda“), Formazione Continua in ambito Sanitario (percorsi di aggiornamento per il personale del Dispensario “Mama Carla”).
Apprendere e svolgere un lavoro ha dal nostro punto di vista un fondamentale ruolo sociale poiché garantisce una forma di sostentamento economico raggiunto in modo onesto senza correre il rischio, dettato dalla povertà, di commettere attività illecite e pericolose. Inoltre, padroneggiare una professione permette ai giovani centrafricani di avere una prospettiva del proprio futuro differente dalla realtà di guerre, conflitti e soprusi che da sempre hanno vissuto, in quella spirale di violenza che, per anni, ha distrutto il Centrafrica.
